How to spot a fraudulent site
Check the URL
Compare it character by character with the official URL. Fakes often use a near-identical address.
Prices that are far too low
If items are listed well below the usual price, the site may be fraudulent.
Unnatural language
Be wary of sites where the Japanese or English reads oddly or is full of grammatical errors.
Very limited payment options
Be careful if the only options are bank transfer or other prepayment methods.
Missing company details
The legal notice required under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions may be incomplete or falsified.
Counterfeit products
BLEI products are sold only through our official online store and authorised retailers.
Items listed on marketplace apps and auction sites may be counterfeit or imitation goods. We accept no liability for problems arising from such purchases.
Signs of a counterfeit
- noticeably poor quality
- logo or tag design that differs from ours
- rough stitching
- different materials
- missing accessories that come with the genuine item
